Few places remain as mysterious as Bhutan. It is probably, the only protected Himalayan Paradise still thriving in its natural splendor. Hidden in the eastern Himalayas between India & China (Tibet), this sparsely populated country of one million people is the last surviving Mahayana Buddhist state.

 
 

The Kingdom of Bhutan has remained a hidden secret by choice for many years. Today, it has opened its door to visitors, and a small number of people are welcome to explore this fascinating and mysterious land.

 
     
 

Day 1 : Arrive Paro - Thimphu. Upon arrival meet with our representative and after lunch transfer to Thimphu. (If the flight is in the morning you can visit National Museum). Evening drive to Thimphu.
Overnight at Hotel in Thimphu.

 
     
 

Day 2 : Thimphu Sightseeing. Morning visit Memorial Chorten, National Library, Painting School, Handicraft shop. Spend the rest of the day at your own leisure.

Day 3 : Thimphu - Trongsa. Early drive to Trongsa via Dochula Pass (Ht. 10,000 ft), from where one has good overlooking view of the Eastern Himalayan Ranges. Enroute visit Wangdi Dzong and proceed to Trongsa across Pelela Pass (Alt. 3300 m).

Day 4 : Trongsa - Bumthang. After breakfast visit Trongsa Dzong and drive to Bumthang across Yutong La Pass (Alt. 3400m)After lunch do sightseeing in and around Bumthang.

Day 5 : Bumthang Sightseeing. Explore Bumthang whole day; visit Jambay Lhakhang, Kurje Lhakhang, Tamashing Monastery and Jakar Dzong.

  Day 6 : Bumthang - Thimphu. After breakfast drive Wangdi.
Overnight at Hotel in Wangdi.
 
     
 

Day 7 : Thimphu - Paro. Early morning drive to Paro and visit National Museum, visit Kychu Lhakhang and doing sightseeing in and around valley.
Overnight at Hotel in Paro.

 
     
  Day 8 : Paro Departure.
